Can anyone tell me whats new in this latest update and did sony fixed the wifi/hotspot bugs in this latest version.

@Jeffeterry that might be related to some Google services. "Android OS" has been randomly showing up in battery stats for years, without any known causes afaik ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Just more bugs. Seriously, this firmware is terrible. The speaker sound volume has been drastically reduced. Alarms sound much softer and in games the volume is fluctuating.

One month after update, my loudspeaker sound is "crackling". Happens in every apps. Tried the reset via PC Companion and it still the same. I'm not sure if the update did causes the issue. I'm really disappointed.

If you have already tried the software repair with Xperia Companion it is probably not software or update related but rather an hardware issue. Maybe it's better to contact your local Xperia support team to get your device looked at.

I really don't want to jump to conclusions as I've had massive WiFi issues with my xzp and xz1c since installing an Asus ac3100 router bit I updated my xzp last night and since that point I have not seen a single instance of WiFi instability. 

What would frequently happen is I would see the phones were connected but attempting to load a webpage would result in an error like page not found until a few minutes later where the phone decides it actually is connected and things work again it's so inconsistent. .

I can't find the button to reply intro the topic so I'm replying to someone, sorry xD

Concerning the new firmware  yep I see nothing new, just the new security patch 

But I don't understand one thing  when there are no updates, you complaining and where they are you complaining to because there is nothing new

Sony do their job of updating there devices with new security patches and bugs resolution 

And we can't say that the Google OS is not the most ultra stable OS of the world

I'm waiting the next update (that will maybe come during 15-20/05) and see if there gonna be new stuff or not xD
