Please add option to disable lock screen "bounce" to the left

When I press the power button and it senses a fingerprint, the lock screen "bounces" to the left. This is annoying when I don't want to unlock the phone and just want to interact with a notification, usually something being cast to my TV. I try to press the pause button, but I have to wait for the lock screen to return to its starting position before I can get my finger on the button. I'm not even sure what this motion is supposed to indicate, so it seems like it should be able to be disabled.

Also, if I swipe up on the lock screen, the screen should move upwards, not left...

These are the default animations of the Xperia Home launcher, and by installing a different launcher you can get rid of them. I think the idea of this "bounce" is to give a visual indication that the fingerprint was not read successfully, thus failing the unlock process.

You can forward your feedback to the official Xperia Home Google+ page.

I'm not sure how correct that is; I've been using Action Launcher since day 1 on my handset and this annoying animation 'bounce' is still present.

Seems you're right, I made a fast assumption without making sure about it. Just tested Nova Launcher and lock screen animation is still the same. Thinking_Face

It's independent from the launcher since it's the lockscreen that does the animation.

I also tried some themes from the app store and it's still showing the animation. I'll try to get more info about this.

It appears that this animation is by design, and there's no way to change it without tinkering the ROM itself. Using 3rd party lockscreens is not a safe solution either.
