Sony Zylo Query

My elderly father has just been given a Sony Xylo - bought for the large clear screen & easy to use buttons. He's managing ok but keeps connecting to the internet by mistake spending loads of money with no benefit. How do I disconnect the internet facility?

From the main menu go to: Settings--Connectivity--Internet settings--Connect to: this will be set to the mobile carrier's data account, so change this to a dummy internet account--select and from options, create new--just give it a name, select and save it.

Thanks Dr Chris. I've done that but unfortunately the phone's still connecting to the internet. However, using the same principle, I've selected 'contract internet' which seems to be working as he doesn't have a contract.
