Hello, My new lap top (GRT916Z ) does not recognize the recovery and documentation disk. I wonder whether it is a problem with optical drive or a soft ware needs to be installed so that the disk (which I think is a dvd disk) can be read. At the moment nothing happens when I put the disk in and under my computer it does not show that there is a disk in the optical drive, thanks.
dont think i will be much help but it could be 1 of 3 things 1. you have a faulty optical drive 2. you have a bad copy of the restore CD9 most likely) or 3. they have put the wrong restore CD in with the laptop ( strange but it can happen)
