How do I produce the ñ and Ñ characters?

did you added spanish to your keyboard?

open the messaging app -> tap on the input box -> tap on the bottom right corner of the keyboard there should be a wrench -> writting languages -> spanish

then the wrench icon will be replaced with a globe with a small wrench so you can switch between languages

just long press the letter N and you will get the option.. even in english..

Slim, in English, long pressing N gives me the number 6.

So, I selected Spanish and I am a happy camper once again.
