Hi everyone
I recently ordered a w995 from overseas, and for some reason I am unable to change the default page on the web browser. Although I tried changing the setting in Internet Services -> Options -> Advanced -> Connectivity -> Default homepage, the browser seems to ignore the page I provide. Is there any way that I can override this behaviour?

This default homepage refers to that of your mobile network's homepage (and will depend on the internet setings), not to your phone's internet menu web browser,( if I'm correct in assuming that this is what you are trying to change). The first you should be able to change manually, as you have described, and to find it go to: Main menu--Internet--Options--Go to: the first option at the top of that sub-menu is the default or other webpage of your choice. The second is part of the phone's software and is fixed.I hope I haven't misunderstood the question.

Thanks for the info. I was indeed referring to the first page shown when opening the web browser - it seems strange that it cannot be changed, especially considering this page is Chinese in my case... the phrase "its not a bug, its a feature" comes to mind.
The web browser's language changes according to the selected phone language, but if this is set to English and that page is in Chinese, I can only suggest that you update the software.
