About update

We are getting the update of any application within 2-3 hrs of their launch but we are not getting system update as fast as apps...why?

System updates are network dependant and need aprooved before release where as apps are soley Sony updates like for example you download an app from the play store and have an update - An app update will not interfere with network branded firmware or generic firmware in a way that would stop it performing

System updates are already approved by ptcrb..

PTCRB is not a network - It's simply says or means that the update is registered as per regulations - It's now upto the networks to test the new firmware before aprooving which then lets or allows Sony to release it to that network via the customization number

Vodafone already test the firmwares, so why all network do this process?

Vodafone is different from other networks - Example you wouldn't find a Vodafone specific pre installed app on a O2 firmware and vice versa just like you wouldn't find a Three specific pre installed app on a Vodafone firmware
