X800 sound stuttering with all discs

I was very happy with my purchase of my Sony x800. I had it connected to a 55" Samsung tv.

Last week I got a new 55" Samsung tv.

Everything was working as it should.

Yesterday when playing any disc the sound would break up like a stutter, the picture is fine, it isn't a regular thing like every 5 seconds it's random. It happens on film menu and during film.

I have reset all audio settings which has done nothing.

I took both plugs out left 5 minutes plugged back in its still a problem.

Swapped hdmi leads no difference.

Tried dvd, br, and 4k discs all the same problem.

The only way to stop this is in mid play pull out hdmi and re insert hdmi. The stuttering stop.

What is causing this and is there a fix please.

do you mean you replaced the one you already had with the same type/specification/maker or did you purchase a different one?

The old TV was a samsung 55" JU6800 6 Series Flat UHD 4K Nano Crystal Smart TV.

The new TV is Samsung QE55Q60RATXXU 55" 4K Ultra HD QLED Smart TV

But the blu ray Sony X800 player was working fine with the new TV until yesterday.

I have several hdmi all 2.0 or better some work some won't
Whatever lead that works always has the noise fault.

I've even now tried it on my Samsung bedroom TV and it's stuttering on that TV to.
So it must be a Sony / Samsung marriage problem.
Or all hdmi leads are suddenly to low spec (but was working 2 days ago)
Hdmi port problem on blu ray or motherboard audio problem.

Also no recent updates to either TV or blu ray player.
