HT RT3 microphone connection

I have a audio technica lavalier mic which I need to attach to a HT RT3 for a work event. 

When the mic is connected via the analog in on the back of the subwoofer, I'm not getting any audio out. Do I need an adaptor or a pre-amp, or is there a better way of connecting this?

Hi @jemmah90,

what kind of connector does your microphone have.

If it has a TRRS connector, it won't work anyways.

Depending on the mic, you probably need a pre-amp.
