Youtube Videos not working on KD65XH8196
Hi All
New to the forum so apologies if this question has already been answered.
I've had my kd65xh8196 for around 3 months now - all was well up until 2/3 weeks ago.
I can get onto the youtube app and browse videos etc, but when I press on any video that I would like to watch, I can only see the first 'frame' of the video (i.e. a still image).
This is also the case with Youtube Ads - I can see the first image/frame that pops up, but the video/ad itself won't play.
Sony's tech team are looking into the issue, but has anyone else had similar issues, and if so, how was it fixed?

Hi,
Please check if the latest firmware is installed on your TV and that the YT app is up-to-date (via Apps Menu).
In addition you might want to clear the cache and data of the YT app in the apps menu.

I also after the update of the KDL-43WF805 TV to version up to 6.7140, the YouTube application for Android TV version 2.12.08 stopped working. Clearing the cache and resetting to factory settings did not work
