Watching football on Sony 49x8305c TV

Just got this TV and extremely happy with all features and PQ so far. With the exception of live football, which I watch a fair bit of! I've upgraded from an LG 42lw550t and everything's so much better, apart from this! Watching it from Sky Sports in HD through a new HDMI lead, the resolution seems lower and there's more motion blurring. Focus on players on the pitch seems off too?

Anyone else experienced this? I've tried a few of the preset modes including the "live football" one and nothing seems to make it much better?

Thoughts?

Hi there

Have a look at the MotionFlow settings and see if adjusting them helps.  Also have a look at some of the advanced picture settings.
