Hi @juliehobbs It is Google TV so bound to be different, and in my opinion, better. Check out the specifications and make sure they are what you are expecting. 4K picture which is nice. Also ensure the stand fits your cabinet etc.

Just remember you are dropping down a grade to a "7" series from an "8" series.
As it has the Bravia Core app installed then your TV must be capable of utilising it.
Perhaps Sony have widened its range of TVs that can sign up for Bravia Core this year.
Have you pressed the button, it should tell you how many free movies and how long your free account will last
if you are interested. I haven't signed up so can't give you a review of the service.
If you click on the link I gave you in my earlier post again and click on the Downloads section
you will see that there was a firmware update released for your TV mid June this year.
Your TV may have left the factory with an earlier software release so you may want to update to this
newer version. If you want to check which software version your TV is running click on your Settings button on the remote
then Settings on screen , scroll down to Help and feedback > Help
at the very bottom of the page and you will see
Model: KD-43X75WL
Software version: PKG6.xxxx.xxxxxxx (if this number is lower than PKG6.7240.xxxxxxx then your TV
can be updated.
As it is a new TV you may want to run it in for a few days with the existing software to make sure all functions
work as you expect and you are happy with it.
Software Updates can be done at any time either through the TVs own software update mechanism or you can download the update to your computer and put it on a USB stick, attach the USB stick to your TV and install that way.
Click on the link below for a selection of LED HD or 4K Ultra HD TVs available at John Lewis,
you can use the filters on the left of the page to select other sizes and screen technology.
Hi @juliehobbs
I'm afraid there is no equivalent for your current TV. Technology moves on and 3D has gone completely. The choice of 43 inch Sony TVs is very limited but Argos appear to have the biggest choice but the prime retailers have a 5 year warranty which is worth having.
Your current TV (2015 model) is an "8" series so in theory a 43X8xxxx TV will be the modern 4K equivalent LED.
43 - size, X = 4K LCD\LED (note A = OLED) and 8 = series (the higher the number the better).
I would go to the Argos site and set the filters to Sony and 33-43 inch. The only 2023 model available is KD-43X75WL but note it is a "7" series so a series below your current model. John Lewis includes a 5 year warranty for the same price.
Thank you, had chosen the Sony BRAVIA | KD-43X75WL, could I just ask would this be similar to the one I had do you know? Thanks Jules

Hi have now taken delivery of my KD-43X75WL, could I ask where I can find out what the buttons on my tv remote are for?
Also is the bravia core free to watch, and how do you get into change settings on this tv please? trying to get rid of the beeps each time I move along my apps?
Many thanks Jules
Well as the remote control has many buttons and features it would be near impossible for anyone to list everything it can do.
Click on this link to the Sony Support page for your new Sony TV,
Click on the Help Guide (Web Manual).
Are you being offered Bravia Core I thought that was only available for Sony TV models in the XR range.
Is there a Setting button on your remote , a little cog/ gear wheel or spanner.
If so press that and from the onscreen pop up scroll to the left side of the screen and select Settings.
Next scroll down to System and click, now scroll down the list to Sound. You can turn off System sounds here.
Thanks so much for the information and link.
It does have the bravia core app installed, whatever that means?
Thanks Jules
