A95L and AT5000 sound distortion

I have been having sound distortion issues with the above using arc connection when viewing streaming channels such as Netflix and Disney  but also on digital free view but not sky via satellite  Sky plus.  Broadband speed is fine 150mbps.  Unclear what the issue is. Sound level is not high but sound is garbled / distorted 

any ideas
