Sometime after 21 Feb my GPS has stopped being able to fix to satellites, which prevents various apps from working, like Waze. I have done all suggested steps of checking permissions, clearing caches and even carried out a full software reinstall but no good. I have run a whole range of GPS test and status apps - they all show it finds loads of satellites but still won't connect. It does find my actual location pretty accurately, presumably from cell/wifi data.
Everything was fine up until 21 Feb at least - does anyone know if there was an update after this that might have affected things? I am running Android 12 and everything is up to date. Any other ideas???

Hey Pangolin, I think you need to send it for repair, use the below details:
Hello @pangolin, since you've done all the basic steps already, you can try a software repair via Xperia Companion.
Nope - as stated had already done that but tried again using manual re-install of apps so nothing else installed. Exactly same result. No GPS fix.

Yes, that is what I have already done, so I am keeping fingers crossed they find something. I was mainly checking to see if anyone else had a similar problem - as it seems not then it looks like it is this phone.
Hopefully everything will be resolved and it'll operate just fine once you receive it mate, cheers.
