Xperia z3+ battery stuck at 20%

My xperia z3+ battery indicator is stuck at 20 even if I charge it. I did try draining it, then charge it again. Tried safe mode but it still did not work. What cam I do?

Hold power+ volume up for ten seconds until you feel it vibrate 4 times. This will reset the cache and possibly the battery stats.

Plug in, and leave for an hour before turning back on.

I have followed all the steps you have given but when I turn on the phone, the battery percentage remains at 20%, when I turn off my phone, it says the battery is full and the battery percentage does not appear. What should I do?
