Upgrade to next compact phone?

I experience the famous "back button not working" problem as also discussed in this forum.

Therefore I conside to change the phone to a new one?

Which would you recommend?

I would like to have a compact (Sony) phone with better camera than the Z3 compact.

Which phone has the best value for money compared to the Z3 compact?
