Stamina system icon never shows

Hi. I'm in the latest .200 build and the stamina battery system icon does not show up. I've searched through the forum and I'm not plugged in, and the system icon check is selected in display ->system icons. Battery times displayed in power menu show added time when stamina is enabled, however, no icon...
What am I missing?

Could you test on safe mode

Thanks @uliwooly. Rebooted into safe mode and nothing changed. Even took away every app from active in standby list and the battery icon never shows the stamina plus sign when I toggle stamina mode.

@ElTano Can you first check if stamina is set to always? Also, can you try to reset it like this: first disable it, then go to settings-apps-all,scroll down to stamina app. Tap on it, force stop and clear data. Restart the device.
