.PDF files opens as folder

Dear's,

When I connect my xperia z5 premium dual via xperia companion and browse file from my P.C the .PDF documents in the telegram documents are seen with the folder icon and also they open as folder rather than opening as a .PDF file.

After making few trial I found that if i shift the .PDFfiles form the telegram documents to a new folder inside or outside the telegram document folder then i can open these files as .PDF files and not as folder.

Could some one let me know the reason.

same problem with my sony Xperia Z5 compact. It applies even in a non pdf file like .jpg, .rar, mp4 files. I still don't know how to troubleshoot this problem until now. Also, it happens when I browse file from my sony Z5 compact itself.

Same problem with my Xperia X Compact. It applies when I browse the phone from windows 10.

It applies only to pdf-files.  At least .jpg and .doc are OK

I beleive it has shown up with Android 8

you have to first convert all pdf files in to zip files then copy to your laptop.

now extract all the pdf files.
