Hello... I'm using SONY XPERIA Z1
What can I do if I forgot my screenlock PIN?
Do I need to reset the phone?

IF reset is needed, how can I reset my Z1 at home?

Have you tried any of the previous troubleshooting that I have posted earlier in this thread? If you haven't done that, I'd recommend that you do that!

Hi @Amirtelecom114, welcome to our forum!

If you have a Google account in your device and you have previously activated the MyXperia service you can login with your Google credentials at the link below.

myxperia.sonymobile.com

Press on your phone and wait for the service to locate your phone > Lock > enter a temporary 6 digit PIN code and unlock your phone with the new PIN code.

If you don't have the service activated in your phone, you will need to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. Do note that doing this will delete all data stored on the internal storage of your phone and since the phone can't be unlocked, creating a backup won't be possible.

Hi @S23, sorry to hear about this.

I would recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will however delete all data stored on the internal storage, but it will remove the screen lock in the same process.
