Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear about this issue.
The first thing I would recommend is testing your phone in safe mode, in case an app has something invisible drawn over the middle of your screen. You will be unable to use any third party apps in this mode, so while in safe mode dial *#*#7378423#*#*, go to Service Tests and test the touch screen. Run though all the tests there for the best idea.
wont let me move apps around on screen from apps screen to home or remoove them from home stops the app if below the power button
has a space in middle
might get fixed with new update in jan.
Based on your other posts, you have a hardware issue, contact your Local support to get it inspected
