Smart lock is missing on XZ1

The smart lock page appear empty, it was functional before but I noticed that location smart lock is not functioning.

 tried restarting the phone but nothing happened. 

BTW, it's XZ1 dual.

Phone is updated. 

There is someone here that posted the same problem but his post was marked as solved for the wrong reasons.

It's an oreo bug.

Go to settings> security >trust agents then disable smart lock. Reboot and enable smartlock again

I did your steps before posting the problem but that didn't help but the next day after posting here the loction smart lock start working again!!

And I also discovered another bug where the navigation buttons dissapear but still function in the software update menu

but it is not really a serious problem but worth reporting.

My XZ1 is a wonderful phone since day one, best phone ever. congrats folks

just a slight issue the smartlock option doesn't work  under setting when I go to smartlock my pin is resqueted so far so good and right after that all I get is blanck page the menu is empty.

any advice ? I don't want to reset my phone the for this

sadly the new update with the last security patch didn't fix anything

By what i read in this topic here in the forum, it´s a Android 8 bug, so try this:

1. Disable trusted agents on security settings

2. Restart phone

3. Enable security settings

Let me know how it goes

I worked with this solution and succeeded but if i restarts the phone it does not work again Thank you for your help
