Screen stays on while making a phone call

Hello there, 

Just as the title says my screen stays on while making a phone call or receiving one. Only solution so far is to turn it off manually by pressing the button. That's pretty annoying.

I already tested all relevant sensors in the "About Phone" - settings and they work just fine.

Furthermore I don't use any protective covers.

Any other ideas how I could fix it?

-Do you have smart backlight control on?

-Do you have your phone in your hand or close to your head while calling.

-Does it happen in date mode too?

Smart Backlight is turned off and I have the phone in my Hand and at my ear (pressing all kinds of buttons with it, cause of the turned on screen)

What's Date Mode? Never Heard of it.

Ah, I think you meant Safe Mode. Tried it and it works. And now it's working even in normal mode. O_o
