Performance problem

Hello, guys.:smileyhappy:

I just buy a new XZ1.

I install only 1-2 apps which are very lightweight, and asphalt 8.

I am very disappointed :smileyangry:because my phone lags and fps drops even when play Asphaalt 8 low setting and scroll web pages with chrome 64( lags even more with 66 version).

How can I fix this ?

Try enable gaming mode, battery saving except, turn off video enhance but no luck.:smileycry:

That is definately not normal, do you have by any chance Stamina Mode enabled? (no need to enable gaming mode or turn off video enhance).

try unninstalling the other apps and restart the phone just to test it.

I disable many sony and Google pre-installed apps, restart but no luck. Flash other firmware from Chinese and EU but nothing change.

Before this, I had a plastic protector but screen lag still exists. So I removed it and use 1-2 days, nothing change. Now I am having a glass protector and phone still lag.

Does it lags from the first day or was after doing something?

I think you should do a software repair with Xperia Companion and test it without installing anything, if it behaves the same way it is time to contact your local Sony Support Team and get your device looked at.

Just to clarify, does it lag ONLY with chrome and Asphalt OR everything is laggy?

Lags with many other web browser. And Asphalt Extreme also. But smooth with Other app

Test the phone in >>> safe mode, this will disable ALL third party apps, test chrome and report back, as for Asphalt you will have to contact the game/app developer.
