having just upgraded to a XZ there is one thing thats annoying me,how or can you get rid of the google feed icon on the home screen so you can actually set the homescreen to one you want

Long-press on any empty space on your screen -> Settings -> Disable "Google Feed"

where in all that reading does it tell you exactly what to do,it obviously does'nt otherwise forums and youtube help video's would not be out there,
