Home screen-can't choose, what am I missing?

Tapping the half of the home icon in the top left corner does nothing. Why is this? The "add" panel works though. What gives? Anyone?

Welcome to the community,

In this case, you could also run through a diagnostics test to see if that part of the screen is working correctly.

Apps > Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Touch Screen.

Hi guys. It was my theme I had installed that did it. It worked in safe mode and then I rebooted, chose a pre-installed theme and the symbol of the house was whole again and "tapabale" 🙂

If I get the same issue with a normal theme I will run diagnostics.
