Experia xz screen lag/bug

Hello.

My xz is brand new, I've had it for three weeks now, never had accidents, falls or wet.

The touch screen seams to have some kind of issue, it's very difficult to swipe left the screensaver (it bounces back) also makes typing a nightmare, because it assumes that I'm swiping through letters, which I'm not. Lately I noticed that videos on instagram won't play.

I've already done diagnose test, updated to Android latest version, disable glove interaction.

Hope there is anything that can be done other than a factory reset.

I'm really sorry to hear about your brand new Xperia XZ!

Has the phone always behaved like this or has it started happening recently? If it was recently, was it after something special that it started? For example, installing a specific app.

How did the phone behave when you performed the test in Diagnostics? Also, what test did you perform in Diagnostics, Display or Touch screen?

I would advise you to reboot your phone to safe mode in order for us to rule out this being caused by one of your downloaded applications since they will be temporarily disabled in this mode.

Hi. İ had same problem. İf stamina mode is on, instagram videos don't play. Turn off stamina mode, try then.

Great tip @pisquare, the new STAMINA mode will limit performance and could be a reason behind this.

Yes, I am experiencing the same problem after booting into safe mode, u had this problem when I took it out of the brand new box, this is a software problem.
