Adabtive brightness is fixed?

 last update with build number 47.1.A.12.75, fixed adabtive brightness issue and its works well

I had to deactivate this obvious feature because it's hyper sensitive and works really bad. Common Sony, you can't release software like that!

Also got OTA upgrade patch to .75 for XZP.

Looks like mostly its a security patch, however, shall check if the earlier problems are resolved.

1. Constant GPS icon remaining on top panel

2. Addition of few old & few new features:

a. Xperia answering machine

b. Double tap sleep/wake

c. Availability of night vision/display tint change

i always perform a software repair using Xperia companion  evertime after updating...

BUG light is not perfect repair, just delayed the light regulation, and the feeling is excessive first-order first-order beats, the transition effect is not so smooth  ,but in 7.1.1  45.0.A.7.90 thats fine, can only say that this version has been amended, really hope it will be changed to 7.1.1  7.90 smooth when the state  In one day

So, hello guys.

I'm on a customized IT sony Xperia XZ Premium currently updated to latest version 47.1.A.12.75 and I suddenly noticed after less then 24 hours a weird bug with adaptive brightness.

Seems that if I take my XZ Premium out of my pocket, the brightness is set at minimum and takes some seconds (about 2-5) to fix display brightness according to the environment lights.

Also i feel that now adaptive brightness is less aggressive and slower to fix display brightness. 

Am I the only one or these are like new features implementations? 

Edit:

Another bug I want to report is a significant Wi-Fi signal drop. With the old firmware I could get 3/4 notches on the icon. Now I get 1 or 2. This is very annoying for netflix streaming as it lowers resolution to match a smoother streaming quality. Can you fix it?

Hello guys, 

This is what I have experienced after the firmware update 47.1.A.12.34

-Adaptive brightness was turned off automatically.

-GPS icon is on after not in use of any Google maps

-WiFi signal is connected but no internet, frequent disconnected from WiFi.

It's a Singapore based set and purchased this year January 

Hope to hear some good news from Sony.

Problems still in 47.1.A.12.75 (Feb 2018 security patch):

1. Adaptive brightness still flickering high and low

2. GPS icon remaining on screen after sometime

3. Double tap to wake feature gone since Z5 Premium model

4. No feature of Xperia Answering Machine

5. Night mode not there

And still stuck with 8.0.0 whereas Nokia and others have moved on to 8.1.1 few weeks back!!

My patience with Sony is finally running out - this XZ Premium will soon become my backup phone - if not exchanged outright - for some other brand like Nokia/HTC and their latest flagships (Nokia 8 Sirocco is on top of my mind).

Time fast approaching to say: "It has been a fairly long relationship (Xperia Z-Z3-Z5PD-XZ P......).
