Hello DB

Could you guys let me know the compatibility issues of Xperia X10 i mean i was thinking of buying sandisk 16gb SD HC card....is it compatible with the device???

Yes they are compatible but a word of warning... buy from a reputable dealer!  I have read reports on other forums about people buying a 'bargain' from Ebay and it turns out to be either a dud or only 8g even tho its labelled as 16 or even 32g. There is no such things as a free lunch.

Yeah often memory cards not bought from trusted traders are fake. It's best to stick to high street stores with a good reputation to ensure a good quality memory card.

for those that are UK base, the 7 day shop (check google) are great for good quality cards at sensible prices.

If you are buying a card make sure it's a minimum of class 4 to get the best speed out of the phone.

16 GB cards are fine though

It'll definitely work. I've had a 32GB Sandisk microSD in mine for the lst 2-3 months.

Do know, the 32GB is quite slow especially when it comes to camera. Try to buy the 16GB, it has a better read/write speed. Bring your phone along and test the card for authenticity. The device will automatically format the MicroSD.

16GB in a HDD is not the same as that in a SD card. So you'll be expecting about 80-90% of the 16GB. If I recall correctly, it'll be in the 14.83 GB range.

Don't really have to. Unless you have either a faulty phone, or a fake MicroSD, you shouldn't have a problem at all.
