Hello?
I have an X10 and 16 GB SanDisk SDHC card but have no idea how to transfer all files from old 2 GB SD card.
Phone doesn't boot up with new 16 GB card. Even if I connected to PC via USB cable, it won't boot up. How can I upgrade this card?
Thanks,
didn't think you needed to update anything 16gb is supported. make sure its making a good contact when its inserted into the slot and that the contacts are clean. check in settings to see if the card is mounted settings/SD card & phone storage, if its not mounted and you have the option to format the card, it may be worth trying this. you can drag & drop/copy & paste the files from your old card to your computer and then do the reverse with your new card, provided you can get it to mount when connected to your computer.
I think the card is bad. This was purchased from one of the best dealer in Amazon. The card is not recognized with any dedicated and laptop card readers.:smileycry:
the cards that came with the phone are class 2 cards, i have heard that for the HD video recording its better to have a class 6 card as its much better at handling the data and doesn't cause juddering during recording.
This may sound silly, but have you formatted the 16GB using your phone? Personally I run a 32GB Sandisk Class 2. Took some HD video today as well as some camera shots. Amazing improvements and the Cmaera is much faster now.
The phone doesn't boot up with the holy-shit-16 GB memory. I couldn't get any chance to press "Format SD card" menu.:smileyhappy: BTW, new SD cards are shipped as pre-formatted.
Yes, I have always known that they come pr-eformatted.However, I was thinking it might be an odd chance you have an unformatted one.....
If such is the case, you need to get it refunded or replaced. There is something wrong with the microSD. This does happen, just not a very common occurrence. It happened to me once a long long time ago.
