I am having a small issue with my phone on that when i try and send a message to specific contacts i have to start a new message rather then carry on with the old one, i have checked the phone book and the number is correct there, IE it has the "+" at the start but when u check the messages themselves it does not have th "+" on it, any ideas?.

Don't know if it will make any difference, but have you checked that the number is 'mobile' on the contact page, on the big X10 there is a drop down box next to each number when you go in to edit contact and on the mini's the box above needs long pressing to select the number type.  I had probs with sms apps seeing numbers marked as 'work' (even tho it was a work mobile number) but as soon as I changed them all to mobile, both the stock app and handcent worked.

Sadly not, it was already under "mobile", thanks for the tip though
