SMS and Calling problems

i have a sony ericsson x10 and ive been having problems with it since the day i got it.  what is happening is i am unable to send or recieve calls or sms's until i either restart my phone or turn airplane mode on and off. im with 3 australia and am locked into a plan, they have replaced both my sim and handset now its beyond a joke. anyone got the same problem

Friend, I think it is a network error. Use a SIM card from some other service provider (use your friends) to see whether the problem arises.

Id think so... But the phone is locked so no other sim will work in it

I might try to move to vodaphone as they are the same company now

Hi kudos0743,

I suggest you contact your network operator and ask them to send you a new sim card.

You might also want to update the phones software to make sure this is not a software issue. This can be done via Update Service, www.sonyericsson.com/updateservice.
