Headphone socket collapsed

I have vivaz u5i. The black surround of the headphone socket has collasped and now the volume from the headphones is very very low. Duff socket. Is this an issue like with the usb ports? Maybe so if people used the HD socket as much as USB? Can post photos if helps?

Hello, perhaps you could send the phone off to be repaired if you still have warranty?

I bought it from O2. I assume no warrenty if no insurance? Only 2 months old. Will look into it tomorrow.
