Email Trash Empty

I use my laptop for most email matters. I use the phone to get emails when laptop not available. The phone is set to leave all messages on the server. I delete all emails from the phone. All deleted emails go to TRASH. How do I empty TRASH without deleting individual emails?

Considering the lack of an answer to my query - am I to assume there is no way to "empty the contents of the deleted email folder"? Deleting individually is a bit of a pain.
