Tablet Locked

I am locked out of my tablet due to too many pattern attempts, I forgot what my google account was but eventually got the account details from the google website but it wont accept them and I am still lokced out, is there a way to reset the tablet or a way to fix this problem.

are you sure you received the pwd for the right google account? the one in use on the tablet.
