Connection failed

I am unable to connect to the internet using wifi.  The Vaio sees the server, pings it but can't get a response. All other machines using the same router have no problem.  Is it possible to connect an ethernet cable?  Urgent as I cant update anything.

have you tryed pressing the reset button on the tablet and if this dosent work try the reset button on the router
