The standby red light barely comes on. All of the button on the bottom half of the unit (bass/treble/function and volume) are not working. However, the CD buttons and power button on the upper half are working fine. The remote also doesn't work at all. 

2 clicking noises can be heard when the unit is plugged in (one after another)
