My KD-55X8505 gave up after 3 years. 

Shuts down by it self one day and starts flashing red 6 times. Mainboard failure. 

Repair to expensive accoding to repair shop . I payed 10000 DKR for that tv. 

I'm totally chocked. And sad. I love Sony, but this is a test of loyalty.

We will see how it turns out.....
