Hi Sachin,
I would recommend you to go to a local retailer to crosscheck the battery (NP-BG1?!) with another battery of the same type if possible.
The camera is a little bit "older" so there won't be warranty available I presume?
Do you live in Germany?
At least you have the possibility to have the camera, charger and battery checked in a Sony service center. Of course you will have to pay a fee for checking.
