wh1000 xm4 not charging

I have a pair of wh1000 xm4 headphones that i have had for just over 6 months but when i try to charge them the red light comes on for about 5 seconds before going off. I have tried reinitialising headphones but it didnt change anything. anyone know if and how i could fix this.

When you tried to reset the headphones did the indicator light flash 

blue 4 times at the end to confirm the reset has been completed?

Also have you tried a different cable?

If the reset was completed and the cable isn't an issue then its probably best you contact Sony Sony Support about this.
