sony xplod cdx-l400x security code

I recently bought a new car and transfered my stereo over to it from the last car, but it's now asking for a security code of wich a don't have at hand anymore.

Can anyone help with this? is there a way around the code like a resetting or something like that.

I would call customer service on this. They would verify your account information first and should be able to help you out once verified. Good luck.
