Wireless drivers S5XP and wireless switch help!!!

Whenever my laptop comes out of hibernation the wireless card does not work. It will show me connected to the wireless network but i get access to the network.

I can fix it buy clicking repair on the wireless network and it sorts it's self out.

I though I would update the drivers from the Intel site, which I did, and it fixed the problem as well as giving me better reception.

BUT now the wireless device switch software does not work anymore. Whenever i boot it gives me an error message. The switch works, I can turn off Bluetooth and Wireless both at the same time, but i cannot have bluetooth off and wireless on.

Does anyone have any suggestions, Sony really should sort this out.

I don't know if there is a workaround but it is probably to do with Sony tweaking the Intel Wireless drivers to incorporate the "Switching" you describe.

Unfortunately by downloading the latest driver from the Intel site the Sony added function(s) will not be incorporated in the driver package.

The same is true with my Intel Graphics Driver. If I download the latest Intel Graphics driver from the Intel site my "Magnify" button on the side of the screen no longer functions.

In the absence of a workaround you are probably stuck with the original "Sony" supplied wireless driver.
