WinDVD Blu-Ray VGN-FW31M

Hi

ever since I installed WinDVD BD Update 8.8.0.154 I've been unable to play any blu-ray dvd's. It recognises that the disk is to be played via WinDVD but nothing plays nor will the program read/recognise a disk is present.

Can anyone help as the online chat support just keeps me waiting for ages saying  "connected, waiting for an operator".
