Vaio TX1 screen has broken :(

The worst has happened. After 2,5 years i managed to destroy my TX1.
I accidentally stepped on my TX1 and the result is that:

If money of course wasnt an issue i would send it to Sony service according to the vaio support page but that would cost me about 800 euro i think.

I have found the TX1 screen on ebay. Its the toshiba LTD111EXCA. The cost is about 300 - 350 euro.
My question is : does anyone know where to find instructions in order to replace the Vaio TX1 screen? Is it easy?
Question 2: does anyone know how much exactly would Sony charge me for the damage?

Hi cptbill,

That looks unfortunate!! I presume you have to replace the entire lid assembly.

If you send me your e-mail address by Private Message (PM), I will send you the Manual for the TX-Series.

It is 3 MB so I can't attach it here - it is too big.
