rz502 tv card problems

hi everybody
just a query from a new computer user i bought my rz 502 but the supplier did not tell me it did not have a tv card.as it happens they fitted one for me free of charge.i have down loaded the drivers from the sony web site but still nothing works. do i have to get giga pocket software as well.look foeward to the replys.

Hi as far as i know if you dont have giga pocket you cant just download it, it comes with the pc only.

If your supplier has fitted the TV card then it will not be the Sony one. You will have to either look in device manager or ask your supplier to find out what model of card has been fitted.

Yep, more likely to be a Haupagge card of some description.

hi guys me back again still having probs the card is badged as a phillips with pcva-1mb6a printed on it followed with a lot of digits is thats any help to any body out there in the ether.

The RZ502 appears to come with the Sony card already installed. The software should be on the recovery disk.

Insert the recovery disk after windows has started and see if Gigapocket is on the application installation menu.
