gigabyte programmes to dvd?

i have recorded several tv programmes on my home pc using gigapocket. Is it possible to archive these onto a dvd disc? Also is it possible to copy onto a dvd disc that can then be played on a dvd player. My sister lives in Thailand and wants some tv programmes recorded and sent to her but she only has a dvd player.

Also what are the best value (cheapest!) dvd discs to use for copying onto?

Cheers

This sounds like a copyright problem

Not entirely sure you can do this, I may be wrong though :slight_frown:

Click to DVD allows you to do this provided the copy restriction flag on the Gigapocket capsule isn't set.

You can just import the capsule directly into C2DVD and burn the DVD - copyright permitting of course.

I have found Ritek white top DVDs to be reliable.

Dont think there is a copyright issue as there it is no difference to recording on to video tape and keeping a copy of tv programmes. Also no different to sending a vhs video through the post to my sister of her favourite tv programmes. It is for personal use, not public broadcasting or to sell on.

Thanks for the reply. What is the copyright restriction flag, how do i find it and how do i modify it? Will this work on a normal dvd player connected to a tv?

Cheers
