FE11S - slow startup

My FE11S spends around 30s after I turn it on before it starts loading Windows - is anyone else experiencing this issue?

(This has nothing to do with loading Windows itself - I've set a BIOS password and the delay is between pressing the power button and seeing the BIOS password request. It just sits there showing the VAIO logo.)

i have a fs115b and it can be really slow

Yup I have the same thing on my FE11S...I did disable the startup logo with sound....gained maybe a sec 3 with that lol

U will have to disable the password, as i think it takes time to leave u the choice to enter BIOS before requesting the password

I don't have a password on my harddisk...I still think it's slow, but I guess this is normal....
