Does anybody know what type of RAM I would need to buy to upgrade the FE11S? Also, does anybody know where it is possible to buy the memory at a cheap price?

According to the specs for the FE11s your system has 2 x 512MB DDR2-533 SDRAM memory modules.

Have a look at Crucial, they have a handy 'Scan My System' wizard which may help.
