2 battery symbols on Vaio 915M - Why?

I was thinking of buying a second battery for my 915M while on a recent trip to the US but noticed that is only had one battery slot. Why are there 2 battery symbols on the front on the laptop if it can only take one battery.

The second battery fits where the CD/DVD drive is now. And you should've been supplied with weightsaver/battery cover which covers the battery when it is installed.

Wish I had bought one now, they were $95 for an original Vaio battery in Frys in San Diego, might ask some mates if they can bring one back!

Sort of defeats the object if I want to watch a long movie!!
