Why no BBC iplayer subtitles on KDL-32EX724

I bought this tv last year and am disappointed that subtitles cannot be seen. I have been onto the BBC webpage and it shows how to do it but I think this is for a computer as the small 's' they speak about is not there when I look at the iplayer through my tv. When I press the subtitle button on my control it tells me that this function is not available. It really does stop me watching many tv programmes when there are no subtitles. Does anyone have an update on this.

Hi there

Unfortunately Sony has no control over the BBC iPlayer and as you have seen, no subtitle support.
