Updating Sony Bravia KDL-32BX300 via usb ? Help needed please.

Hi,

I'm having problems with system update. I downloaded latest from 2011 onto usb but the TV is not recognising the format and comes up as ' no items to display'. Cannot follow the onscreen instructions as there are none....

What am I doing wrong ? This is the first time I've tried this, the software I have at the moment is M 8.7222.

Hi

Did you see the sticky post at the top of the page which might help. Most common issue is taking the actual firmware file out of the unzipped directory, when you actually have to leave it in the directory for the TV to see it.

Make sure the firmware.upd file is copied directly onto the root of the USB drive and not placed into any folder that you may have created..
